Professional Intern: Retail, Branding, and Workplace | Concept, Initial Design, Design Development, and Documentation | finish and fixture selections, detailing and documentation, rendering, 3d modeling, and client presentations | Sketchup, Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), AutoCad, Microsoft Suite, and Keyshot.
During my four months with Brigada, I was working internationally with a young and talented team of architects and designers. As a part of a fourteen person company, I was able to work on projects from concept/research through construction. As an Interior Design Intern, the majority of my time was focused towards on project proposals, concept design, detail drawings, and client presentations.
For the projects that I worked on, I was involved early and able to contribute to the concepts with mood imagery, sketch renderings, and potential applications. My last project was for an update to a kid's active wear store that was hoping to add color and energy to the space intended for ages 0-15. After the concept was accepted, we designed the new elements in a team of four. I built the digital model and rendered the views with the elements designed by the team and the graphic designer.
